This Cookies & Data Privacy and Use Policy is a document of Grupo Aldan, which manages George V Casa Branca and George V Alto de Pinheiros. This document was prepared in order to inform you of how we treat your data and information, in addition to offering objective and clear information about what Cookies are, which Cookies we use in our applications, what role they play and how to configure them.

Grupo Aldan has been in the market in an ethical and transparent way for over 28 years, complying with the legislation, including all data privacy legislation, as well as, but not limited to, the Federal Constitution, the Consumer Defense Code, the Brazilian Civil Code, Marco Civil da Internet (Federal Law n. º 12.965/2014 and the General Data Protection Law (Federal Law n. º 13.709/2018).

1. What Are Cookies?

Grupo Aldan uses Cookies to provide the best user experience, making our applications easier and more personalized, based on your choices and browsing behavior.

In this way, we seek to understand how you use our applications and adjust the content to make it more relevant to you, in addition to remembering your preferences.

Cookies participate in this process to the extent that they store, read and execute the data necessary to fulfill our objective.

4. What is Personal Data?

Personal data is all the information that makes it possible to identify a person, such as their name, telephone number, ID number, resume, etc.

4.1. What data and information do we collect?

It is important to note that specific personal information and sensitive data will only be collected by Grupo Aldan when the Data Holder him/herself registers to obtain information on reservations in the "Contact us" form.


4.2. How do we collect data?

In the “Contact us” form, Grupo Aldan collects the data you send to the e-mail in order to make reservations, for example:

  • Full name;

  • CPF/CNE;

  • Address;

  • Telephone number;

  • E-mail; and

  • Other information that may be provided.


4.3. For what purposes do we process your data?


The information collected by Grupo Aldan will be stored in its database to fulfil the purpose requested by the Data Holder, where this information may also be kept to allow Grupo Aldan to offer products and services or even new business opportunities.

Therefore, the Data Holder, in this case, expressly authorizes Grupo Aldan to process the data in accordance with the clear and precise information mentioned above.

4.4. How do we store Cookies and Data?

Your browser stores Cookies on your hard drive, but they take minimal memory space that does not affect the performance of your computer, smartphone or any other device with internet access. Most of the information is erased right after the session is closed, according to the estimated time shown in the table provided in item 1.1.

4.5. How do we keep Data secure?

Grupo Aldan will store information collected on its Pages on its own servers or servers hired by it.

Grupo Aldan uses reasonable market-proven and legally required means to preserve the privacy of the Data collected on its Pages. Thus, it adopts the following precautions, in compliance with the guidelines on security standards established in Decree n. º 8.771/2016, such as:

  • Uses standard and market-proven methods to encrypt and anonymize the Data collected;

  • It is protected against unauthorized access to its systems;

  • It only authorizes access by previously established persons to the location where the collected information is stored;

  • Those who come into contact with the information are required to maintain its confidentiality. Breach of confidentiality will result in civil liability and the person responsible will be held accountable under Brazilian law; and

  • It maintains an access history, where it is possible to identify the time, duration, identity of the employee or of the person responsible for the change and the object file, based on the connection and access records to applications, as set forth in article 13 of Decree n. º 8.771/2016.

Grupo Aldan applies its best efforts to preserve the privacy of your Data. However, no website is completely safe and Grupo Aldan cannot fully guarantee that all information carried on the Webpages are not subject to unauthorized access by means of methods designed to obtain information unduly. For this reason, we encourage and ask Users to work with us on data privacy by taking appropriate measures to protect themselves as well, such as keeping all usernames and passwords confidential, not sharing passwords under any circumstances, and using different, strong and secure passwords.
